The Challenge
Founder Dr. Kerri Fitzgerald, MD, has an unusual and highly credible background - 14 years as a licensed medical acupuncturist plus a career in neonatology and spine surgery - but "acupuncture" sites often skew either overly clinical or overly new-age. The site needed to bridge both worlds: an evidence-based, medically credible tone with a genuinely calming, holistic feel.
What We Did
Led with Dr. Fitzgerald's dual medical/acupuncture credentials to immediately differentiate from typical acupuncture practices
Designed a soft, botanical visual language (leaf motifs, calming imagery) balanced against clear, benefit-driven copy (pain relief, stress reduction, hormonal balance)
Built a transparent pricing structure directly into the services section, removing a common friction point for new wellness patients
Listed accepted insurance providers clearly, addressing a top concern for anyone new to acupuncture
The Result
A site that makes an unconventional treatment feel approachable and credible at the same time, helping convert visitors who are curious but skeptical.
